Looking for some simple magic to try out this Holiday season? Have no fear, we have something for you! Mistletoe Magic is all about making your home a happy and safe place full of love and inviting protection for the upcoming year.
Mistletoe Magic
Mistletoe is a holiday staple. Its green leaves and white or red berries can be seen all around during this time of the year. Usually, if you get caught under the Mistletoe with someone, that means you two are in for some smooches. Don’t worry, we’ve got another job for your Mistletoe.
For this magic, you’re going to need these few items:
- Happy Home Blessed Herbal Candle
- Attraction/Love Blessed Herbal Candle
- Protection Blessed Herbal Candle
- 3 candle holders
- Fresh Mistletoe
- Red ribbon
- 1 brass nail
Find a place to work and get your candles ready. Start out by removing all of the packaging from the three candles. Once that is done, place the candles in the candle holders and arrange them in a triangle with the Mistletoe in the middle. Light all three of the candles while reciting the following words:
This house is blessed this house divine
This house is protected with this vine
Evil and ill will are not allowed near
As only love may enter here.
Take the Mistletoe out from the middle of the candles, tie the red ribbon around it and walk it clockwise around the outside of your house while reciting the same words you did when you lit the candles. Walk the Mistletoe clockwise through each of the rooms in your house, bringing blessings to every corner.
Using the brass nail, hang up the Mistletoe above the main entrance of your home. Keep the Mistletoe up there until around February and then burn it for blessings in the new year.
Let the candles burn for as long as you can while you’re around. NEVER leave an unattended candle burning. If you have to leave, blow them out and relight them when you return. Remember to light them if you are going to have family or friends over to help make sure they have a nice visit.
